Mission Statement
Cabaret 4 Choice™ is an independently-produced performance, and CD, to raise
awareness about everyone's right to choose, with proceeds to benefit pro-choice agencies and organizations across the country. It is the brainchild
of Veronique Chevalier (formerly Cyphyre), who has been a long-time supporter of Planned Parenthood®. She created and produced this theatrical production and CD because she
wanted to do something more proactive to make a difference on this important issue.
She describes the project as "Info-tainment," since the goal of Cabaret4Choice is
"to reach and not to preach." While not all the songs are humorous,
most of them are, because she believes that laughter opens people up to receiving a message that might not be that easy to digest otherwise. Ms. Chevalier (formerly Cyphyre) is
what she likes to refer to as a "musical jester," and has been called, among other things, the "Weird Val" of Cabaret. She would like to offer thanks
everyone who has made this project possible, as well as all who believe in freedom of choice.
You are invited to join us in supporting organizations and individuals who:
♥ Provide safe and
non-judgemental reproductive health services and contraception/safer sex supplies, because we believe that no one should be at-risk, and we also
believe that every child should be a wanted child. ♥ Provide sexuality informtion and training programs,
because we do not believe that ignorance is bliss. ♥ Promote, and lobby for, freedom of reproductive choice,
in their continuing efforts to develop community
support for public policy that supports such services, values and vision, because we don't believe any of us can afford to take our current reproductive
rights for granted. Won't you join us in supporting the mission of those who support choice and all the valuable things they do for our communities? Together,
we can make a difference! PLEASE NOTE: C4C™ is not a 501(c)(3)
organization, and is in no way connected with any particular agency, or organization, including Planned Parenthood®, or any of its affiliates, nor
is it officially endorsed by them. It is a purely voluntary effort on the part of numerous like-minded individuals who wish to support freedom of
choice in a fun, informative and creative way, and who also personally agree with agencies or organizations who support reproductive freedom for all
individuals.
